Our
fully equipped Pleasure Cruiser, Kon Tiki, and the professional
crew of 8 will ensure that your day trip will be remembered
as one of the highlights of your holiday.
Our
boat is 22m long with 2 upper and 1 lower decks. Our luxurious
cruise will take you to more than 15 islands and we will
stop at 4 of the most beautiful islands for snorkeling and
to enjoy the beautiful beaches.
Kon
Tiki is licensed for 100 passengers but to provide comfort
and luxury for our customers we take a maximum of only 50
people. Our boat is equipped with a GPS system, echo sounder,
marine radio and other equipment to provide maximum safety
for our customers.
Furthermore,
we have a cocktail bar, kitchen, BBQ, an air conditioned
stateroom (for cooling down or business meetings), a shower
and 2 western style toilets.
On
the way to exclusive snorkeling sites we offer a variety
of European and Thai delicacies such as Filet Steak, Pork
Steak, BBQ Chicken, Smoked Norwegian Salmon, Shrimp Salads,
and Fresh Bread as well as a big variety of Thai Specialties
and Curries and some Vegetarian Dishes. Coffee and Cake
will be served in the afternoon.
For
your enjoyment we have a fully equipped cocktail bar serving
your favorite cocktails or any other alcoholic choice you
select as well as coffee and Espresso. For your relaxation
we offer Traditional Thai Foot Massage on board.

About
Us
Kon Tiki began operating in 2006 with two smaller boats
and upgraded in 2007 to the larger cruise ship that we operate
today. The goal of Kon Tiki is to offer superior service
as a luxury cruise which offers gourmet food, swimming and
snorkeling at the best locations inside the Koh Chang national
marine park. Our friendly staff has been trained to offer
you the best possible experience as you sail the tropical
waters along the eastern islands in the gulf of Siam.
The
day starts at 8am as our Kon Tiki taxi begins collecting
our customers, beginning in White Sands Beach, and works
its way down to Bang Bao village where the Kon Tiki boat
is docked.
As
our taxis arrive in Bang Bao village our passengers prepare
for their stroll through this quaint fishing village to
the waiting boat.
As
you walk down the pier you will pass a variety of seafood
restaurants, souvenier shops and dive schools, all built
above the water along either site of the pier.
Upon
reaching the end of the pier everyone will begin boarding
the Kon Tiki boat and make themselves comfortable for the
cruise ahead.
As
soon as we depart from the pier the crew will begin preparing
brunch for our guests which includes scrambled eggs, ham,
salami and fresh breads for making sandwiches.
While
enjoying a bite to eat on the way to our first stop you
will have an opportunity to see many of the beautiful islands
that fill the sea in the Koh Chang national park.
Rocky
cliffs and thick tropical jungle abound on the large islands
that inhabit the waters along the way.
By
11am our boat will arrive at Koh Maak, an island on the
southern fringes of the national park with beautiful sandy
beaches dotted with coconut palms.
After
our ship drops anchor our guests will have the opportunity
to swim in the beautiful tropical waters and sun themselves
on the soft sandy beaches of this delightful paradise.
Though
the national park boasts more beaches than one could possibly
see in a single day, we will allow you the chance to see
another of the best destinations on a small island just
off the southern shore of Koh Maak for swimming, relaxing
and exploring.
After
leaving the beaches behind and heading towards the rocky
islands that host some of the best snorkeling spots in Thailand
our guests will be treated to a gourmet lunch available
only on the Kon Tiki. This huge buffet includes a wide selection
of both western and Thai specialties.
One
thing you'll find no shortage of at our snorkeling spots
are fish. Lots and lots of fish. Toss a little bread or
rice into the water and they'll gather by the thousands.
A
ring of floats around each snorkeling spot helps protect
the fragile corals from the boats that anchor nearby and
help guarantee the survival of these reefs for the years
to come.
So
put on your mask and snorkel and jump in! The water is warm
and clear and the fish are plentiful.
The
coral reefs are alive with life. Brightly colored fish,
strange and exotic sea life and beautiful tropical corals
await you.
As
our boat sails to a second site for snorkeling you will
be served some fresh pineapple and watermelon before you
enter the waters for another relaxing swim over a thriving
coral reef.
As
the day approaches its end and our boat begins its journey
back home our guests will be treated to an afternoon snack
of coffee and cake.
The
leisurely return trip will once again pass some of the beautiful
islands that populate the national park.
Passengers
will have a chance to relax and reflect on their day of
swimming, snorkeling and site seeing.
As
the sun begins to set we arrive back in Bang Bao village
and return all our guests to their resorts. We hope you
