Cliff Cottage
The
way Thailand used to be
The
bungalows are rustic wooden style and all have a picturesque
cliff top sea view with a balcony and double bed, the toilets
and showers are located centrally.
The
resort has a private cove with great swimming, snorkeling
and fishing opportunities. The new wooden bar / restaurant
is built over the sea in a private cove. There are very few
places so picturesque.
The bar area and bungalows offer a great place to relax and
watch the sunset. If you need to be entertained and like the
noisy bars then Cliff Cottage is NOT for you.
We
are close to the Bang Bao pier ideally located for those planning
to go diving and snorkeling or those wanting to travel on
to the other islands.
Customers
have free access to internet connection, DVD's, PS2 &
satellite TV
The
only noise comes from the sea and all you can see is nature.
There is no loud music and no crazy parties

The
restaurant is built over our private cove and offers a beautiful
sea view
We
offer a selection of great Thai food and some western foods
for you to enjoy whilst watching the fishing boats, beautiful
sunsets and if youre lucky the large sea eagle.
The
kitchen is open from 8am and closes at 9pm.

Travelling from Bangkok to Koh Chang
By plane Bangkok Airways to Trat airport.
By meter taxi 3,500 baht to the Thamochat ferry
By bus from Kho Sarn Road there are many agents advertising
this package in the area.
From Ekami bus station The 999 bus leaves 3 times a day,
from 6.30 8.30 am, direct to Laem Ngop ferry. Costs 250
baht.
Or take the Trat bus but explain you are going to Koh Chang.
You will be dropped of at a taxi (Songtaew) point, from where
you will be driven to the Thamochat ferry.
I recommend you start your bus travel before 10am.
Travel
from Cambodia to Koh Chang.
If travelling independently head for the city of Trat. A regular
shuttle service runs from the bus station to both ferries
Centre Point and Thamochat.
The last ferries generally run at 7pm
On
arrival to Koh Chang take the taxi to the very last stop,
Bang Bao 7/11. The taxi fair should be 120 baht
If you arrive after sunset or have heavy bags please call
for pick up. Phone box on 7/11 wall.
To walk to us is 7 minutes. Walk to the start of the pier;
turn right on to a small path. Go around the Remark Puzi,
resort keeping left at all times, past the "Private Land
No Entry" sign. Cross over the bridge then towards the
houses. Keep going by the water side and you arrive at Cliff
Cottage.
Sounds more complicated than it really is. Just keep left,
close to the water and you find us.
Ask a local for Cliff Cottage or our neighbor Nirvana.
It can be confusing 1st time, thats why we offer a free pick
up from Bang Bao 7/11.
