Island Lodge
Founded
by expatriot Englishman Graham Rivers and his wife Fon in
1993, Island Lodge is a boutique lodge located in the tranquil
surrounds of White Sand Beach in Koh Chang Thailand, a mere
3 minute walk from the hustle and bustle of the main street.
Island
Lodge can offer a variety of accomodation, from simple thatched
huts to comfortable western style rooms with satellite television
and airconditioning.

A comfortable cinderblock cabin with all amenities including
cold water shower, we toilet and filed floors.
Perfect
for the traveller on a budget, but wanting the creature comforts
of a clean foom and sprung double bed mattress. The cabins
have a covered balcony with Sebel cjairs and clothes rack,
perfect for watching the day go by !
Room
- 700 Baht
Located in the comfortable main building of Island Lodge,
these roms provide all the creature comforts of home with
a hot shower, We toilet, satellite television and a ceiling
mounted fan.
The
rooms have screens on the doors and windows and a large balcony
with stunning views of the nearby mountain and jungle. Perfeet
for those wishing to get away from it all in relaxed, yet
civilised environment !

Located in the comfortable main building of Island Lodge,
thes rooms provide all the creature comforts of home with
a hot shower, We toilet, satellite television, air-conditioning
and two double beds - perfect for the family that travels
together ! Or good friends !

with stunning views of the nearby mountain and jungle and
ocean.
Welcome
to Island Lodge
Koh Chang is located about 4 hours drive South East of Bangkok
and about 35 Kms. froms Cambodia in Trat Province.
Getting
here is easy - simply catch a bus from Bangkok, but be careful
of the Khaosan Road tour operators otherwise you may end up
in a mini bus with no air-conditioning and an 11 hour trip
! It is usally about 350 Baht including the lovely ferry ride
and then another 50 Baht for a taxi to White Sands Beach.
Thing
To Do
There is never a dull moment in Koh Chang with a variety
of activities ranging from Scuba Diving to an excellent nightlife
with clubs and restaurants on the beach.
Chang
means elephant in Thai and there is a large monky school and
animal refuge for those of you with a passion for exotic creatures.
For the more extroverted male there are a variety of Bars
where one can find the local fauna in abundance !
