Judo offers standard concrete hotel-style rooms which are clean as a whistle with air-con, fully-sheeted beds, Thai TV and toiletries. More interesting are attractive wooden bungalows that come in two styles. Really pleasant, without being overly plush, some aspects are well decorated, while others are plain and simple. A sweet natural style bathroom has slate and decorative plants. A third option, closer to the river, is good quality, funky tents erected on raised platforms in a circle. Endowed with electricity, they have a fan and light, and three single mattresses which take up all the space. There is a cute swimming pool in the centre of the resort with sunbathing deck, and out on the sea front there’s a wooden jetty for fishing or simply admiring the view. Facilities for water sports such as kayaking are available. Worth a look if you have your own transport.
