are an ideal base for anyone looking for budget rooms in a
central and quiet location whether you are single, a couple
or a family. We have a lift (elevator) serving all floors.We
have 3 types of rooms. Many of our rooms have sound proof
connecting doors for Families.
Standard
Room
Double
bed, refrigerator, cable TV, WIFI Internet, bathroom with
hot shower some with a balcony.
Superior
Room
The
same facilities as our Standard rooms but much bigger. Some
have small balcony.
One
Bedroom Family Suites
A
suite with all the facilities of our superior rooms. The bedroom
has a queen size bed and the living room has a pull out sofa
which can sleep 2 as well as 2 arm chairs and a coffee table.
Our Family suites can add the adjoining Deluxe room by opening
a sound proof connecting door to make a Two Bedroom Family
Suite.
Two
Room Family Suites
You
can book our Standard, Superior and Family Suites online.
For our Two Room Family Suites please book a regular Family
Suite and a standard room and we will allocate the adjoining
standard room to you. We will reply inside 24 hours (usually
less than 6 hours) to confirm availability.

we are
We are in Chai Chet, just south of White sands,
set back from the main road and in a quiet and peacful cul-de-sac.
3 minutes stroll and you are on Coconut Beach.
Fast
Facts
- Koh
Chang is 270km from Bangkok - 5/6 hours by bus and Ferry.
- Last
ferries leave Mainland at 7:00pm.
- Trat
Airport is 90 mins by minibus from KC. Minibus meets all
arrivals - no need to book!
- High
Season is Dec to Mar, Monsoon Seasonย is mid May to early
Oct.
- In
the Monsoon it is not unusual to get long periods without
rain or rain non stop for 1-2 weeks
- Second
largest Thai island after Phuket.
- About
3 hours from Had Lek (Cambodia Border) by ferry, taxi
and minibus.
- Regular
Songtew (shared taxi) run all day and early evening from
the ferries to all the West Coast hotels.
- Many
motorcycle accidents but they can be rented for between
150 and 250 baht per day all over the island.
- Koh
Chang is at its greenest from Jul to Nov.
- Great
room deals are available May - Oct.
Did
You Know?
- Only
15 years ago Koh Chang was totally undiscovered
- Electricity
and the main road arrived here in 2001. Before that the
only access to the West Coast was to walk from Au Sappalot
or by fishing boat
- It
used to take locals 1 week to go from Salak Phet to Whitesands
and back over the mountains
- There
used to be a well worn track from the Klong Plu waterfall
to Dan Kao on the East Coast
- The
road round the island is scheduled for completion in Sep
2003!
- Koh
Chang was the site of a major naval battle between Thailand
and France in 1941
- The
Thai Royal Navy used Koh Chang as a major base during
the Pol Pot era in Cambodia
- In
2002 there were only 3,000 beds available for tourists.
