We
are located on Koh Wai Island in the Eastern Gulf of Thailand.
We offer 39 private rooms, each with private shower and toilet,
mosquito net and fans. Water is available 24 hours, and electricity
24 hours a day.
Foreign
travellers and locals alike, enjoy the white sandy beaches
and the clean emerald blue water found here.
You
can enjoy traditional Thaifood, Western Breakfast and of course,
fresh seafood in our restaurant.
We also have a lounge on the water (Ban Klang Nam) for our
guest to relax and have a hot or cold drink and snacks.

at the Koh Wai Pakarang (coral) Resort you can enjoy many
watersports such as swimming, canoeing, diving, fishing, and
snorkeling our magnificent coral reefs.
We
also have nightly movies and games for our guest to enjoy.

Accommodation
At Koh Wai Pakarang Resort, we have
38 bungalows, some of which are traditionally constructed
wooden buildings and the other buildings are more modern,constructed
from concrete.
All
bungalows are cosy and comfortable. Cleanliness is a priority
and our staff ensure that all of our accomodation meets our
high quality standards.
Our
bungalows are all equipped with bathrooms [with showers] double-beds
and wardrobes. Every room has either an overhead fan or a
free-standing fan provided.
There
are also "family bungalows" which are larger in
size, and have two double-beds located inside.
Each
room also has electrical power sockets and lighting*.

Electricity operates 24 hours a day.

In addition to our operational resort services we provide
the added convenience of a small store. We stock a wide variety
of beverages, snacks, personal hygiene and safety products.
We
have two restaurant/dining areas in our resort - the first
one is located next to the service counter, and the second
is located in the "floating house". Food may also
be served on the beach, or in a guests bungalow.

"We
are a french family, and we came in Koh Wai to spend our winter
holidays every year since 2004. Why ? Because Koh Wai is a
true paradise. We have travelled in more than fifty countries
around the world but Koh Wai is a unique jewel. There are
no cars, no roads, no pollution, and very few tourists on
this tiny island... the sea water is clear and so warm, and
for our children the beach is wonderful for swimming because
the sand is fine and the coral reefs are not far away, so
it is easy to snorkel and see plenty of fishes. When we are
in Koh Wai, we can truly relax and forget everything.
We stayed every time in Pakarang Resort because it is more
comfortable than the few other resorts, and not much more
expensive. Also the food is very good in Pakarang Resort,
just like what you could eat in the best restaurants of Bangkok
; specially the Tom Yam soup and the prawns with garlic and
pepper ( real branches of fresh green pepper ! ) are unforgettable.
Us, we go fishing from the pier of the resort, and the cook
prepares us our daily catch ( squid, garupa... ). The staff
of the resort is also truly friendly. They make you feel more
than a guest, they make you feel like an old friend, like
if Koh Wai was your home.
