Us
Welcome to My Housestay. It used to be a local Thai
fisherman's house. We bought it and fixed it up. intending
it to be vacation home for our family. Sort of like our own
little getaway. But soon our friends were asking to stay over
and everybody was telling us how much they loved our place.
So, we've decided to share our house and hopefully share the
enjoyment with everyone who's interested in staying over.
Really,
if you want something a bit more local Thai, something more
unique than the usual touristy spots, we welcome you to come
and visit our little My Housestay
Our
Place
At our place My Housestay in the province of Salatpet
it's a big house and suitable for family vacations, road trip
with friends, and those who want to experience a home stay
(living in a local fisherman's house), but in a more comfortable
environment. Such as we provide beds, clean sheets, air-conditioned
rooms, and western style toilets
You'll
find peace and quiet here. If you're looking for parties or
bars, this is not the place. It's more for a natural getaway
to enjoy nature, waterfalls, the open sea, fresh air, trekking,
kayaking and other activities. It's also quite romantic with
the beautiful sunsets, and especially on clear nights you
can see the sky light up with stars that you won't be able
to see in Bangkok. And we also have a television set
and karaoke machine for some for some of you who might like
to sing.
We
are a Thai family and we can show you around if you let us
know ahead of time, or if you want to explore on your own
we can just give you some tips and point you in the right
direction. Nearby there are hiking trails that lead to beautiful
waterfall, a shop where you can rent kayaks and paddle around
the sea, and also snorkeling and diving activities.

อาหารกลางวัน : ข้าวผัดทะเล หรืออาหารจานเดียว ผลไม้ เครื่องดื่ม
= หัวละ 100 บาท
อาหารเย็น : Seafood Set (นึ่ง ทอด เเผา ต้ม ย่าง) ข้าว ผลไม้
เครื่องดื่ม = หัวละ 400 บาท

บ้านเรา
ตั้งอยู่ที่หมู่บ้านสลักเพชร ทิศใต้ของเกาะช้าง เมื่อออกจากท่าเรือให้เลี้ยวซ้าย
แล้วตรงไปตลอดทางประมาณ 22 กม. หรือประมาณ 30 นาที (ตามแผนที)
จากนั้นให้เลี้ยวขวาที่โรงเรียนสลักเพชร ตรงต่อไปอีกประมาณ 3
กม. จะเห็นหมู่บ้านโฮมเสตย์สลักเพชรทางซ้ายอยู่ติดทะเลมองหา
บ้านเรา หลังคาสีเขียว
เดินทางโดยรถยนต์
ใช้เวลา 4 ชั่วโมงจากกรุงเทพฯ ถึง อ.หางแก่ง จ.ตราด จากนั้นขึ้นเรือเฟอร์รี่
ใช้เวลาประมาณ 30 นาทีก็จะถึงเกาะช้าง
