PARADISE
Bungalows
is a typical Thai holiday park located on the beautiful and
peaceful west coast of the island of Koh Chang.
You'll
find the latest holiday resorts: The Garden Bungalows, built
in authentic Thai style with a double bed, a large ceiling
fan or airco and a flatscreen TV. The bathroom is equipped
with a hot shower and modern toilet. The bungalows are spread
across a Thai garden and offer a terrace, overlooking the
sea. We are located at a distance of 300m from the sea!
Garden
Both types of holiday homes are situated in a beautiful flower
garden where the tourist can enjoy the Thai fauna and flora
overlooking the palmtrees and the sea.

& Restaurants
Just about everywhere in Thailand, the streets of the villages
are abundant with small restaurants and pubs. PARADISE Bungalows
is situated in the coastal town Kai Bae where you can eat
and drink everywhere.

You can travel by different means of transport from Bangkok
to Koh Chang:
your
trip by plane from Bangkok Airport to Trat takes about 40
minutes. From there you can take the ferry to Koh Chang. your trip by bus: both
public transport and private bus companies have regular trips
to Trat. Some will take you directly to the ferry heading
for Koh Chang. The bus ride takes about 6 hours. if you prefer to go by
car: a taxi or rented car will take the highway towards Trat.
Keep in mind that the last departure of the ferry is around
7.00 PM.
Upon
arrival at Koh Chang a 30 min taxi ride from the ferry port
will take you to Kai Bae / PARADISE Bungalows.
Koh
Chang The mountainous Koh Chang
is the largest of the approximately 50 islands that make up
the National Marine Park Ko Chang. The park takes up an area
which is for 2/3 covered by sea.
Despite
the crystal clear water and idyllic beaches, tourism on the
island still is in its infancy. There are some 75 species,
in addition to reptiles and amphibians. The rough interior
is difficult to access. The most beautiful beaches are located
on the west coast.
2 of the many waterfalls
are definitely worth a visit: Than Mayom and The Khlong Phlu
waterfall. In front of the coast of Koh Chang there are a
few beautiful islands where you can snorkel or dive with a
large variety of coral to discover.
On the island you will
find many diving schools who offer initiation into scuba-diving
or deep-sea diving. In Kai Bae there is a set of 5 schools
with instructors in your language.
Koh Chang also provides
adventurous activities such as elephant-, jungle- and sailtrips.
If you prefer to take things easy you can enjoy some snorkeling
or a Thai cooking class. You won't find any shopping malls,
but instead local merchants offer local products and art objects.
Kai Bae Kaie Bae is on the west
coast and stretches along a 2.5 km long idyllic beach with
palm trees. It makes the place a beloved spot to those who
love a picnic and some peace and quiet. In the main street
there are several small restaurants along the road but also
you will find the typical Thai snack bars where you can have
tasty and cheap food.
In
the evening the quiet village transforms and a vibrant nightlife
reveals itself with pubs and bars, with cheap food, drinks
and live music.
