Who
are we?
The
Dive Point Koh Chang is the leading divecenter at Lonely
Beach (Haad Thanam – for the location click the island logo
top left), one of the most beautiful and popular beaches on
the island. We have been operating on Ko Chang now since 1997
as a PADI authorized diving school, have done all kinds of
dives with thousands of divers and also instructed and certified
a countless number of none divers – from “Discover Scuba Diving”
introduction courses to the “Assistant Dive Instructor”.
Diving
or snorkeling with us is always great fun, so just bring your
good mood and the fully PADI - certified stuff will take care
of the rest ...
Where
do we dive?
Ko
Chang, the second biggest island in Thailand, and 46 other
smaller islands in Thailand were designated to the 650 square
kilometer “Mu Ko Chang National Marine Park”. Furthermore
there are a quite few more islands close by that are not part
of the National Park anymore, for example Ko Kood, the fourth
biggest island in Thailand. So you can expect a vast variety
of excellent dive sites with breathtaking coral reefs beside
great days at Ko Changs beautiful beaches.
What
do we offer?
Beside
snorkeling tours we also offer different kind of diving trips,
such as “Inner Islands”, “Far Islands” with 2 dives each or
the “Nightdive” with 1 dive. If interested, we also offer
dive tours where you will sleep on other islands.
Beside
a night in selected bungalow resorts this dive trip includes
6 dives – even though more dives are possible on demand.
In addition you can do all kind of diving courses with the
appropriate certificates at the Dive Point Koh Chang. Beside
the above mentioned “Discover Scuba Diving” introduction course
we also offer the “Open Water Diver”, "Advanced Open
Water Diver”, the "Medic Aid Diver” and the “Rescue Diver”
course. But also the “Dive Master” and the “Assistant Dive
Instructor” course can be made within 10 days at our dive
school.
Diving
for Disabled: handicapped divers and those who want to
become a diver, will be fully supported. We arrange everything
from pickup at the airport to room-reservation, seating on
the boat to bring back to the airport.
(At
all tours / courses incl. breakfast, lunch-buffet and beverages.
Pickup-service from and to your hotel or bungalow resort is
also free of charge.)

with us is not only great fun but also Safe Diving!
All of our equipment is to the finest standards and well maintained
regularly, and all of the PADI approved dive instructors are
professionals with many years of experience.
How
runs a day with us?
Your
day with the Dive Point Koh Chang starts with the pickup from
your bungalow resort or hotel between 8:00 am and 8:30 am,
depending where it is located. Arriving at the Dive Point
at Lonely Beach we will have breakfast together, while a pre-briefing
will take place.
You
choose and fit your equipment and groups will be set up. Around
9:00 am we will go to the Boat at the Bang Bao Pier. Depending
on the visited divesites, you will be on the boat for about
5 to 8 hours. Usually a dive will last for about 1 hour. Since
our tanks are filled with 210 - 220 bar, dives of more than
1 hour are easily possible.
There
will be European and Thai food, fruits and drinks available
all day long. Food is prepared freshly from fresh vegetables
and other fresh ingredients.
Back
in Bang Bao you will be brought back to the Dive Point at
Lonely Beach, where you fill in your dive logbook and the
dive certificates will be handed out. Then you will be brought
back to your resort. Here and then there might be a BBQ-party
at the Dive Point or the whole group will go out for
dinner together ...
